A simple rose

A simple rose I took the image of this rose in the tea kitchen at work some days ago. What amazes me so much is what can be done with a little pocket camera, a Canon Powershot S95 in this case. At f2.0 the macro really gives a great bokeh.

Encounter

This photograph was taken in 1985 during a trip to the Turkish metropole Istanbul. I found it, when I recently went through my scanned Kodachromes from that time and  don’t think it needs much further commenting from my side. My favourite Internet Jazz Radio

I’ve been listening to them for some months now and thought they’d be worth sharing. They are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the best jazz music available and donating to them is worth every cent. Actually they are the first non-profit content provider I ever sent a donation.

There is so much bad internet radio and Swissgroove is a wonderful exception from the crowd.
